How far in advance should I book a fishing charter?
We recommend booking as early as possible to secure your preferred date. Certain times of the year tend to be busier than others. Reservations can be made as little as 24 hours in advance or up to a year ahead.
Guests are kindly requested to make a 20% payment at the time of booking if booking through a third-party company. Alternatively, guests may opt to transfer 25% of the total amount directly to Reel Spirit, or arrange a cash payment during the booking process. For overseas guests booking directly, the full payment will be processed on the day following the charter.
We offer multiple convenient payment methods for booking your experience. You can choose to pay with cash, utilize bank transfers, or even explore the option of cryptocurrency, as we have crypto-wallets readily available. For bank transfers, we facilitate transactions to a local FirstCaribbean account, ensuring a seamless booking process.
Our cancellation policy is as follows: If a charter is canceled by the client with less than 48 hours’ notice, the deposit will not be eligible for a refund.
Unfortunately, we will have to charge the full booking fee for no-shows. This is necessary because we have commitments to our staff that need to be met, and due to the popularity of our charters, it ensures that others have the opportunity to enjoy our experiences.

Cancellation Policy
Each charter has a unique and specific cancellation policy, which will be detailed in your confirmation after booking. If you have any concerns or do not agree with the cancellation policy after booking the charter, please notify us immediately. Below, you can find the typical charter cancellation policies for our fishing charters.

A specified deposit is required at the time of booking, which varies depending on the chosen charter. The remaining balance is due on the day of the trip. Our cancellation policy includes a 72-hour notice requirement. If a cancellation is made at least 72 hours before the scheduled departure date and time, the deposit will be fully refunded to the customer. However, if a cancellation is made within 72 hours of the departure date and time, the customer will be billed for the remaining balance of the charter cost, along with any catering and add-ons that were arranged. In the event of a cancellation due to inclement weather, the decision rests with the Captain’s discretion. If the Captain cancels the charter due to adverse weather conditions, the deposit will be fully refunded, with the exception of catering and add-ons. Please note that all sales are considered final.
